Supervised swimming

• The Barterand natural lake (more often called the Saint Champ Lake, even though ¾ of its 19 hectare surface area is in the commune of Pollieu).
  
  Situated in an old glacial basin, with a maximum depth of 14.5 metres, this site has remained remarkably wild and beautiful.
  
  The beach area has been marked out and equipped : supervised swimming, water-sports installations (landing stages and diving boards), terrace, bar, areas for playing pétanque, table-tennis tables ..., so the entry charge is justified.
  
  Open from 1st July to 31st August.
  Large rubber rings, swimming lessons, light meals and evening grills.

The rest of the edges of the lake, which are open to anglers are covered by the usual type of vegetation: rushes, water-lilies etc (see also under Fishing)
